It's been a great weekend...

It has been a great weekend to me so far. First of all, I played for the local rank and this time I faced the guy who is considered to be one of the favourites of the number one rank position. It wasn’t a long match and it was very unusual as the weather somehow limited our game. Luckily, he was a lot tired than I was, even though I had played for two hours before I played this guy. He started off very well and broke my service. I was a little worried as I had no idea of his weaknesses. However, I soon realized he hits the ball in this very flattened way, with little of even close to zero spin therefore the low I kept the ball the better and it worked. Every time I put the ball very low in this forehand he had trouble to pass the ball in this very offensive way so he made some decisive mistakes and I managed to beat him. His backhand wasn’t that too either but he has a strong service and moved very well.

Some hours later I took my camera and went to the city centre for show snaps. Here is the result.

The first shot show the church from outside. I know it seems so small but it’s huge and there is a very beautiful and vast garden. I’ll post some more shots I took next week.

The weekend

One more weekend some more tennis matches. First of all, I need to talk about the weather here. I can’t describe how unbearably hot it has been in the past few months but today it reached a point where I could literally pass out on court. In fact, I even felt dizzy and weak so I had to abandon the match. There is no way I’ll play tennis after 9:30am. I’m going to send some pictures I took this morning on court. Anyway, the weather here is so tricky because it is beautiful outside, the sky is clear and blue and it’s also very sunny then you decided to spend the the on the beach and it is only when you come back that you realize how stupid your decision was. Symptoms of the overexpose to the sun are heavy headache, difficulty to sleep and overtiredness, well at least that is what happens to me.

Below are some pictures I took today…

Ok this is not me on these pictures. This is the coach and a friend who challenged him this morning. It was quite a good match to watch. This guy in white shirt is the coach and he makes tennis seem so easy to play. I wish I had a backhand and forehand as good is his.

Xmas

After a while away for study reasons I’m back. My studies are almost done with two more weeks remaining. Anyway, I had a very pleasant day yesterday as I went to this very comfy coffee shop.

On arriving at the shopping centre, I could see immediately that the Xmas feeling is everywhere. Stores are getting ready for Xmas, which is really great. I spent the whole afternoon reading and this coffee shop and as I always carry my camera with me, I took some photos. I’m planning to go there today again, so I’m sure I’ll be posting some more pictures very soon.

Sunset pictures

This weekend I went to Jacaré beach where the sunset is simply stunning. It’s a lovely place full of restaurants and handcraft stores. There were lots of tourists so I walked around for some time to take some pictures. Below is the result of it all. I hope you all like it.

While I was walking around I came across this very interesting thing. There’s a guy selling all types of peppers including sweet ones. I mean, he made this cashew and pepper sweet I know it doesn’t sound that good but it is DELICIOUS trust me!

New Pictures

After some lazy time I am back. This time I’m going to post some of the national volleyball tournament that took place some weeks ago. You know I was trying the entire morning to move to a wordpress blog? Honestly speaking, it’s quite different but I can’t say it’s complicated but I can certainly say blogger is far easier to use. I find blogger much simpler as well.

The first picture was taken at the arena two days before the semi-finals and finales that happened on Saturday and Monday respectively. As you can see the weather was wonderful, the sky was clear blue. The second picture shows the adjacent volleyball courts. The pictures were a little dark because I was against the sun so I apologize.

Getting instructions from their coach.

Another weekend, another series of...

Ok anohter weekend another series of pictures from different places. First of all, I wanna mention my second tennis match defeat. This guy has really learnt how to play against me and apparently he has studied my every move. We played only one set it this lasted almost 2 hours of pure running! I have to admit that I reached my limit today but he seemed to be quite well, full of energy, which is pretty amazing given the speed we were playing under the sun.

Well, the beach volleyball tournament begins this Wednesday. I didn’t know that till I came across his huge pile of metal, which is basically part of the bleachers for the event. Of course I took some photos of it. After that I meat a friend and we went out for some pictures. I hope you like them.

Ok here you can see where the volleyball tournament is taking place. Of course I’ll take some more pictures of the players and the environment so there will be plenty of pictures next week. I also visited a very nice park and took some more pictures.
